Socks for Bubbly is just that. Donate a new pair of warm socks in exchange for a glass of bubbly at participating restaurants in Montreal or Toronto. One glass per person, though additional donations of socks are welcome!

Can’t make it to any of our participating restaurants?

Make your way to Bookmark offices in Montreal and Toronto during regular
business hours to drop off donations. (Sorry, socks donated at our offices do not come with bubbly).

David Ferguson, chef and owner of Restaurant Gus in Montreal, was listening to a documentary on the CBC radio’s Sunday Edition about the importance of socks for the homeless. People donate bedding, warm clothes, boots, but very few people donate wool socks. Since starting Socks for Bubbly, 42,000 pairs of socks have been donated to shelters in both cities.
